9/14 | 5–8 PM "Welcome to Minnesota!” The Hospitality Center invites you to kick off your Minnesota adventure with a burst of fun, games, and mouthwatering delights. Join us for laughter and fellowship as you engage with our loving volunteers and students that spark joy and forge new friendships. Try some delicious Minnesotan delicacy prepared by our wonderful volunteers and receive their hospitality. Come with a friend. 
Company Tour
9/23 The Hospitality Center is partnering with Scott equipment company in organizing a company tour. This event is designed to give students an opportunity to experience how an American company functions and also creates a space to ask questions to the employees. Camping Overnight Trip
9/27-9/29 | Wild River State Park Get ready for an unforgettable escape into the wild! Join The Hospitality Center and Wild Hearts Adventures for a thrilling overnight camping trip designed especially for International students where you'll leave behind the hustle and bustle of campus life and immerse yourself in nature. North Shore Day Trip
10/5 | 8:30 AM–9:30 PM Come with The Hospitality Center to explore the North Shore. We will be visiting some of the most popular spots along the North Shore such as Gooseberry Falls and Pebble Beach (near Split Rock Lighthouse). This is an all day trip! Snacks and dinner are provided in your event fee. This event is limited to 10 students. 
Culture Conversations
Weekly on Thursdays, 9/19–12/12 6:00-8:00 PM Are you a person seeking new friendships with meaningful conversations focused on Culture and some amazing life topics to enrich your personal and emotional wellbeing. Then this is a safe space for you. Each session will have some delicious light dinner, an ice breaker, and focused discussion to understand and explore culture and life from different perspectives. Redwing Hike
10/26 | 12-6 PM Join us to enjoy the crisp fall air and nice views of Red Wing, the Mississippi River, and Lake Pepin. This hike is enjoyable and easily-accessible, taking just 30–45 minutes to reach the peak. Bring a jacket, water, snacks, and your phone to take lots of pictures! After the hike, we'll stop by downtown Red Wing to visit the Red Wing Museum and see the world's largest boot! Sign up using link below! |

Hospitality Center Student Group
The Hospitality Student Group is a registered student-led organization at UMN which exists to welcome and connect international students to local communities. The student group plays a pivotal role in our annual arrival season and in our Celebration Meals throughout the year. This is a great opportunity to develop yourself, experience deeper community, and serve international students at UMN. Time commitment: 1 School Year; 2 meetings a month + active participation in Hospitality Center Events |

Student Volunteer Team
We are looking for international student volunteers! As you know, The Hospitality Center is a non-profit which thrives through the generosity of volunteers. We are looking for 10 student volunteers to commit to volunteering at our monthly meals for the remainder of the spring semester. This is an opportunity to give back, grow yourself, and serve alongside other Hospitality Center community members. The Hospitality Center is happy to provide you a volunteer certificate upon completion of 10+ volunteer hours. Time commitment: once a month for a semester, usually the third Saturday of the month. |
