We want to extend a welcoming hand of hospitality to our international friends and their families. There are 10,000 international students who come to live in the Twin cities every year. We make opportunities for you to serve them in practical ways through resources and hosting in homes. We also organized events and trips that are great for building enriching friendship with one another.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Why volunteer?
Spending quality time with international students yields great fruit. Friendships form, trust grows, and life is shared when we experience something new and enjoyable together. The destination is not as important as the time spent together. We encourage you to take international friends around "hot spots" in Minnesota.
How do I volunteer?
If you are interested in becoming a Hospitality Center volunteer you can fill out our EZ volunteer form below. Our volunteer director will then contact you to set up an interview, normally via Zoom. Once you are approved we’ll make sure you are trained and equipped to engage with international students.
Do volunteers get a discount for event fees?
The Hospitality Center covers half the cost of event fees for volunteers. Many events are free of cost.
How does my church volunteer?
Contact The Hospitality Center to express your interest and determine a date, destination, and the size of your group. The Hospitality Center will publicize and secure advance registrations for the outing, but we encourage you to invite those from your network as well! Typically an outing fills quickly, but if registration is low, The Hospitality Center will consult with you in a timely manner.
