Sharing the love of Jesus Christ
through hospitality with international students
and scholars in the Twin Cities.
What We Do
We welcome international university students arriving in the Twin Cities
We pick up students from the airport, we host them in our homes during their time of transition, we organize an annual Welcome Picnic, and we provide practical resources such as welcome gifts, help with English, and small household items.
We connect students to the local community and Minnesota
We offer programs which give a platform for friendships to form, students to find a “home away from home,” and authentic communities to develop. Some examples include enjoying meals with volunteers in their homes, Celebration Meals, friendship partners, and hiking.
We invite students to explore Christianity
We provide opportunities for interested students to discuss life, faith and worldview. These conversations happen naturally as friendships between students and volunteers flourish. We also have an ever-open invitation for students to attend bible studies, various workshops and church services.
We support students who graduate and transition into the workforce
Whether students decide to remain in the U.S. or head back into the global community, we are here to support them. Practically this looks like airport drop offs, reverse culture shock conversations prior to departure, prayer, and helping them network locally or abroad.

Who We Are
We are a local community of volunteers, generous donors, partners, churches, students, corporations, and staff who are committed to the good of international students in the Twin Cities.
What We Believe
- We believe that the best example of love we can give to students is the love we have received from Jesus. Jesus cared for the whole person. We do not seek to address physical needs apart from spiritual needs.
- We believe that students are not projects to be completed, but people to be known and cared for. We want to consistently listen, learn from, adapt to, and provide for their needs with kindness and authenticity.
- We believe in the need to be transparent about our faith in Jesus with all whom we interact with as an organization.
