Arrival Season is an integral time of year where hundreds of international students arrive in the Twin Cities for the first time!

​Join us in sharing the love of Jesus through offering practical support and purposeful events that foster friendships between volunteers & students.
You have a chance to:
  • Participate in a student’s spiritual journey to experience the transformative love of Jesus, which they may then share with their families, communities, cities, and nations worldwide.
  • Invite a student into your family for a short-term stay and witness them forming bonds with your children or sharing a home-cooked meal.
  • Assure their parents back home they have a family away from home who is offering safety, support, and love.
  • Encourage them and give them security and confidence in a new country and on a new campus.

In all this, we pray students know Jesus.

Some students need a place to stay for a few days before they can get into their apartment or dorm. You can offer a warm hand of friendship when you pick them up at the airport and offer to host them for a few nights.

100 UMN Welcome Picnic volunteers

Every year, at the start of the fall semester we host an annual Welcome Picnic where hundreds of students come and enjoy meeting people, good food and fun games. We need a lot of volunteers for this, so consider joining us!

50 CSP Welcome Picnic volunteers

This year we have the opportunity to host a second Welcome Picnic welcoming hundreds of new students during Concordia–St. Paul's orientation week. 

20 Warehouse giveaway day volunteers

Many new students need practical items like office chairs, desk lamps, and kitchen utensils. We also need volunteers to help drop off items to students houses after they choose items. Come meet students & provide a practical need!
