5:30 pm–9:30 pm Ice Castles is an award-winning frozen attraction located in five cities across the US, including right here in MN! The experience is built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and much more. |

2:30 pm–9:30 pm Downhill skiing and snowboarding is a popular winter activity you cannot miss! All experience levels welcome. We will handle all the logistics, just bring your friends and show up for this fun outdoor winter sport! Cost includes a light snack before the event, a snowboard OR ski rental, a lift ticket, a helmet, and transportation to and from the event. |
Saturday | February 18th
11:30 am–1:00 pm Healthy relationships and a successful career often hinge on your communication skills. Join Christine Chow as she leads this workshop, entitled "Communication in the Workplace–Building Rapport with Others." Christine is a trained counselor who has learned and practiced communication skills in many different settings and cultures. The cost is $7, including a light lunch and some resources to take home. |

11:30 am–3:30 pm Snow tubing is a fun winter adventure sport which requires little to no skill! Simply dress warm and come ready to feel the magic of going down a large snow-filled hill on what looks like a tire (a tube!). A light lunch will be provided at 3300 University Ave SE before we head to the hill. Join Hospitality Center and USA Homestays for this winter fun! |
Como ZooSaturday | March 25th 1:00 pm–4:30 pm Come to Como! You will see animals and plants from all over the world, even ones from your own country! It's not far from campus (1225 Estabrook Dr, St Paul 55103) and entrance into the zoo is free! The $5 cost covers transportation and snacks for this event. Sign-up coming soon. |
Easter ExperienceSaturday & Sunday | April 8th & 9th Time Varies In addition to Christmas, Easter is the most important holiday for Christians. Hospitality Center volunteers welcome you into their home to have a meal, participate in some of the cultural elements of this holiday, and learn a little bit more about the story of Easter. Duluth TripSaturday | April 15th 7:15 am–9:00 pm Come explore Duluth and the North Shore. We will visit some of the most popular spots such as Canal Park, Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse. We will also stop by Betty's Pies to grab lunch and try one of their "world famous" pies. Cost TBD. Sign-up coming soon. |
