There will be a lesson topic provided with an optional Christian component.

Food with Friends
Meet new people, eat good food and start to build community during your time here in Minnesota! If you want to gain a network of friends during your time here, what better way to do it than over a meal? Typically groups range in size from 6–12 people in total. We expect you to find some friends to help you out! You can sign-up on your own or with friends!
Time commitment: 3 months, 4–6 hours/month

Hiking Club
Explore Minnesota with your friends with a series of hikes with the same group of people! This is a great way to get to know the outdoors of MN and to get to know new friends. The group will be anywhere from 10–20 people in size and will hike together once a month at a pre-determined date, time, and location.
Time commitment: 3 months, 6–8 hours/month
Winter Attractions
Get to know Minnesota and new friends through three outdoor winter activities. The first activity will be an "ice harvest" where you'll participate and observe a variety of activities related to ice. The second activity is taking part in the festivities of Saint Paul's annual Winter Carnival. And the last activity will be ice-skating at the Oval in Roseville. Cost covers ice-skating but does not cover any additional food purchases at the various events.
Time commitment: Three days this winter: January 21st, February 4th, and 18th

New Hobbies
Come join Hospitality Center and CXI to learn two new hobbies this winter! February 13 you will learn oil painting and get to take home your own work! And March 27th you will learn how to make sushi!
Time commitment: Two Mondays in Spring from 6 PM–8 PM

Friendship Match
Get connected with a Hospitality Center volunteer for one semester. Get to know each other, have meaningful conversations and enjoy some of the great indoor and outdoor activities available to us in the Twin Cities and the surrounding areas. You and your friend decide together when and where you will meet. Every pair is expected to have one meal together, go on an hike or walk together, and come to our end-of-semester celebration at Como Park. Eating together is always a great way to begin.
Time commitment: One semester; 3-6 hours a month
