Arrival Season is an integral time of year where hundreds of international students arrive in the Twin Cities for the first time!

​Join us in sharing the love of Jesus through offering practical support and purposeful events that foster friendships between volunteers & students.

In all this, we pray students know Jesus.

This is a terrific opportunity to connect with students during an uncertain time...You're not merely a shuttle service—you're a warm and welcoming smile.

Short-term hosts

Some students need a place to stay for a few days before they can get into their apartment or dorm. You can offer a warm hand of friendship when you pick them up at the airport and offer to host them for a few nights.

UMN Welcome Picnic volunteers
Aug. 29th
Every year, at the start of the fall semester we host an annual Welcome Picnic where hundreds of students come and enjoy meeting people, good food and fun games. We need around 100 volunteers for this, so consider joining us!

Giveaway bag donations
​Needed by Aug. 5th
Many new students need practical items like office chairs, desk lamps, and kitchen utensils. We also need volunteers to help drop off items to students houses after they choose items. Come meet students & provide a practical need!
